Door County stone is well known for its soft texture and color, which range from buff to brown. The limestone is naturally smoothed through thousands of years of weathering. The antique look of this stone is extremely unique, elegant and bold all at the same time. This stone can only be found in the land that jets out from Wisconsin into lake Michigan. It is from the region called Door County that it is bordered by Green Bay on the left and Lake Michigan on the right. This area is well-known nationwide for its cherry and apples trees.
